Climax Springs Board Election Filing
Notice of Filing Procedure for the Climax Springs R-IV School District Annual Board Election
The Climax Springs R-IV School District will accept declarations of candidacy from any person interested in running for a position on the Climax Springs R-IV School Board in the April 2nd, 2024 election. Candidates must be citizens of the U.S., resident taxpayers of the district, reside in his/her school district for one year preceding their election or appointment, and be at least twenty-four years of age. Persons interested may file with the board secretary at Central Office located at 571 Climax Ave, Climax Springs, MO 65324. Filing will begin on December 5th, 2023, at 7:30 am and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Tuesday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm through December 20th. Filing will not occur on days the school district’s offices are closed due to inclement weather or school holidays. The office will open at 7:30 am on December 26, 2023 and filing will end at 5:00 pm. There are two three-year term positions available.
